I love October! For a number of reasons but the mains ones are 1. Because the weather becomes nice and I can actually stand being outside for longer than two seconds. 2. Halloween! By far my favorite holiday. Who doesn't love dress like a zombie and watching horror movies and tick or treating (or handing out the candy). 3. 31 days of Halloween on the SyFi channel. and 4. Its the time of year down in Florida that reminds me of home. Back in North Carolina it would get cold and the trees would change, I really loved it. Here in Florida the trees really don't change, mainly because everywhere you look there are palm trees, but it gets a little cooler, the humidity goes away and there is a certain fall smell in the air. I don't know what that smell is exactly but its a nice nostalgic smell/feeling. I just love fall.
Today however got off to a rocky start. I didn't fall asleep until 10:30 this morning and woke up at 4:00 this afternoon. I had my body on a good sleep pattern but over the past few weeks it has switched back on its own to a night time schedule. I hate it because I am up all night and sleep all day. I wish I could switch back but its not working so far.
But it was a good day when I was awake. Hung out with my Jeter and have been watching the Tigers vs. Yankees game and one of my favorite shows Pysch.
